Presto acquires Arbejdsmiljøgruppen, a specialist company within OHS training and mandatory safety education

Presto Denmark, part of Presto Group (“Presto”), Europe’s leading provider of fire protection, first aid and safety training, today announces the acquisition of Arbejdsmiljøgruppen ApS, a Danish specialist company within occupational health & safety training and mandatory safety education.
The acquisition is an important step in Presto’s ambition to offer a complete platform for safety, training and compliance, strengthening the Group’s overall capabilities within occupational health & safety, prevention and competence development in Denmark.
Founded in 2018, Arbejdsmiljøgruppen has in a short period of time built a strong position as a recognised provider of certified occupational health & safety training. The company is specialised within occupational health & safety education and mandatory safety training, headquartered in Roskilde, while delivering training across Denmark through a network of experienced and highly skilled instructors.
Founders Poul Bang Nielsen and Tine Bang Ploug, will continue to lead Arbejdsmiljøgruppen following the acquisition. With a strong focus on quality, compliance and practical application, Arbejdsmiljøgruppen supports companies in translating regulatory requirements into concrete and value-creating occupational health & safety practices in everyday operations.
“The acquisition of Arbejdsmiljøgruppen is a natural step in Presto’s growth strategy. We do not only aim to deliver products, but to be a complete safety partner for our customers. With Arbejdsmiljøgruppen on board, we significantly strengthen our training area. It has been crucial for us to bring Tine, Poul and their employees along on the journey. Their deep expertise and many years of experience ensure that from day one we can deliver advisory services at the very high level our customers expect”, says Mark Nilsson, Country Manager, Presto Denmark.
Anders Kjærsgaard, Head of M&A, Presto Denmark, adds: “We have seen a significant overlap in our customer bases, and for us it is essential to continuously strengthen our training and education offering with specialists and deep professional knowledge. With Arbejdsmiljøgruppen, we significantly enhance our capabilities and take an important step closer to our ambition of becoming Denmark’s leading full-service provider within training, safety, fire protection and first aid. Compliance and education are strategic focus areas for us, as companies increasingly need to document competencies in order to remain attractive to both customers and employees.”
“For more than 15 years we have worked in the field, and with Arbejdsmiljøgruppen since 2018 we have delivered occupational health & safety training and advisory services. We have taken pride in knowing our customers and supporting them where they are. With Presto, we now gain the opportunity to offer holistic solutions that go beyond traditional safety. Together, we can deliver modern and innovative solutions that not only protect but also inspire companies to work smarter and become more resilient in a changing world. This partnership gives us access to a stronger network and broader competencies, ultimately benefiting our customers.” says Poul Bang Nielsen and Tine Bang Ploug, founders of Arbejdsmiljøgruppen.
