Presto acquires leading Dutch fire safety company Vlampunt, strengthening its position in the Netherlands
Swedish Presto Group (“Presto”), Europe’s leading company in active fire safety, safety training, and first aid, has signed an agreement to acquire Vlampunt, a fire safety company in the Netherlands.
This strategic acquisition further strengthens Presto’s European position, as Vlampunt not only broadens the group’s installation and maintenance capabilities in fire detection and evacuation alarm systems, but also reinforces its consultancy capacity in highly specialized fire safety expertise. Together with Vlampunt’s first response training offering, the acquisition enables Presto to deliver an even more comprehensive and integrated fire safety proposition to customers across the Netherlands.
The acquisition of Vlampunt also continues to strengthen Presto’s position in the Netherlands following the acquisitions of Velco Brandveiligheid, a leading fire safety company, and BHVNederland, a leading safety training company earlier this year. Vlampunt adds highly specialized consultancy expertise in complex fire safety challenges, as well as installation and maintenance of fire detection and evacuation alarm systems capabilities that further expand and deepen the group’s technical offering in the Dutch market.
Headquartered in Baarn and serving thousands of customers nationwide, Vlampunt’s combination of consultancy strength and technical specialization forms a complementary addition to the services of Velco Brandveiligheid and BHVNederland, creating a powerful platform for continued growth.
