Presto acquires leading Spanish emergency training company Seganosa, strengthening its position in the European safety training market

Swedish Presto Group (“Presto”), Europe’s leading company in active fire safety, safety training, and first aid, has acquired Seganosa, a leading emergency response training company in Spain.
This strategic acquisition further strengthens Presto’s European position within safety training as Seganosa offers highly specialized fire safety and rescue training courses to a wide range of customers in the airport, maritime, industrial, and energy sectors. Seganosa serves both Spanish and international clients from its state-of-the-art training facilities in Galicia and Puertollano.
“We are thrilled to welcome Seganosa to Presto. Their strong emergency training capabilities perfectly complement our fire safety and training operations in Spain. Together, we accelerate our growth while delivering even better end-to-end safety solutions that protect businesses and save lives”, says Staffan Pehrson, CEO of Presto.
The acquisition of Seganosa further advances Presto Spain’s Iberian presence following the market entry in 2024 through the acquisitions of Eurofesa and Securtraining. The addition of Seganosa’s 30+ years of expertise creates an even more comprehensive safety offering to new and existing customers, driving growth in Spain and Europe aligned with Presto’s vision ‘Saving lives, together’.
“Seganosa’s specialized training offering strengthens Eurofesa’s service portfolio and supports our expansion across Spain. We look forward to leveraging their expertise for combined growth in the fire safety and safety training markets”, says David Lopez, General Manager of Eurofesa.
Rafael Toval, General Manager of Seganosa, will continue in his role to drive growth in Spain. “Presto is the ideal partner for Seganosa. We share a commitment to innovation and safety excellence, and I’m excited to contribute to our combined growth, building on our strong foundations in emergency training to serve even more customers across Spain and abroad”, says Rafael Toval, General Manager of Seganosa.
